Happy Galentine’s Day!

I had never heard about Galentine’s Day until I read an article in the February 13, 2017, issue of The Dallas Morning News.

I think it’s a great idea. We need a day to celebrate the importance of our female friends—our gal friends! I have a number of splendid girl and women friends, and they make my life much richer, much more interesting, a lot more fun.

I am going to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my husband, as usual. I also am going to celebrate Galentine’s Day with some of my women friends.
