Are you a Resolute Woman?

Of course, you are. We all have been resolute—even though some of us have perfected being resolute more than others.

Remember when you first learned to walk? When you first learned to walk, you were resolute. You pulled yourself up and were happy just to stand, unsteadily, holding on to a chair. You took a step or two from the chair to the coffee table. You fell down over and over, but you were ready to do it again. You kept practicing and practicing, and, with every bit of progress, you smiled. You were proud of what you had accomplished.

If you can be resolute, you have a tool you can use to achieve what you want to accomplish in your personal and your professional life. Being resolute is required for learning a skill—like playing tennis. It’s required when you want to make a new friend. It helps you succeed at child rearing or job hunting or getting good reviews from your supervisor.

For Fayteen, the story about learning to walk provides the best definition of the Resolute Woman. “What’s important,” she explains, “is not giving up, even when you think you’re falling. You keep working until the task is complete and then you move on to the next task.”

You are a Resolute Woman if you accept that:

  • Life isn’t easy.
  • Life isn’t fair.
  • You probably aren’t going to be rescued by a Fairly Godmother or Prince Charming. Your children are wonderful, but far from perfect. And, your boss has good points and bad points.
  • You’re going to have to work very hard to get what you want.
  • You can’t have everything you want, but you can have a productive and rich life filled with much happiness.

Who is the Resolute Woman?

Here’s our list of characteristics that describe the Resolute Woman. Which of these characteristics describe you? Which characteristics are your strengths? Which characteristics to do you need to work on strengthening?

I’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and amusing, and without a doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The problem is something too few people are speaking intelligently about. Now i’m very happy I found this in my hunt for something regarding this.

Hello! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers?

I’m kinda paranoid about losing everything I’ve worked hard on.

    Any recommendations?

The very next time I read a blog, I hope that it won’t disappoint me just as much as this one. After all, Yes, it was my choice to read, nonetheless I really believed you would probably have something interesting to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something that you could possibly fix if you weren’t too busy seeking attention.
