Peace and uncertainty

My husband Jerry and I are now self-quarantined in our home with food for several weeks and plenty of books to read and closets to clean.

Still, I keep feeling anxious about all of the uncertainty. And, what about my son Jay’s May wedding? And, why am I worrying about a wedding when some people are getting very sick?

I am trying to hold on to peace and hope–and reason and priorities.

I like these words from Eleanor Roosevelt.

“It isn’t enough to talk about peace,” Eleanor Roosevelt once said. “One must believe in it. And it isn’t enough to believe in it. One must work at it.”
