When I am too busy and the traffic is annoying and I’m running late, I’ve found the best remedy always is laughter. I try to remember the reason for the holidays. This is not a season to be endured, but a season to be enjoyed.
Sometimes, though, I have to remind myself to keep smiling. One day recently when I was feeling a little stressed, I found this Christmas card in a store and I couldn’t keep from laughing.
Two women on the front of the card are talking, and the words explain that Sally is planning a Christmas dinner for relatives.
“Do you serve mixed nuts at Christmas?” the friend asks Sally.
“Of course, I can’t let them go hungry,” Sally replies.
