The Pursuit of Less

You can’t do everything.

We know that’s true, but sometimes we need a reminder. Greg McKeown does a good job of reminding us about the truth in his new book Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less.

“The message is to point out the madness of nonessentialism, or, as I sometimes call it, the madness of everythingism. Everythingism—what a strange philosophy: ‘If you can just fit it all in, you can have everything you want in life.’ It’s absolutely not true,” McKeown said in an interview with Cheryl Hall in The Dallas Morning News.
