“If you stand aside and let others give direction, you’re meek, weak, probably not leadership material.”
In a new survey of women who work in technology, Rampell reports, 84 percent said they’ve been told they were “too aggressive.” But, 53 percent said they’ve been told they were “too quiet.” And, 44 percent said they have been told both that they were too aggressive and too quiet.
