What’s the difference between the Resolute Woman and superwoman?
- The Resolute Woman takes care of herself. Superwoman does everything and takes care of everyone else. She doesn’t have time to take care of herself.
- The Resolute Woman realizes that no one is perfect. She doesn’t act as if she’s perfect. Superwoman acts as if she’s perfect. She feels guilty that she isn’t perfect at everything. She works harder and harder because she feels guilty.
- The Resolute Woman makes conscious choices about what she’s going to do. She has goals. Superwoman is so busy she doesn’t have time to make choices. She tries to do everything.
- The Resolute Woman says “no.” Superwoman always says “yes”—even when she wants to say “no.”
- The Resolute Woman strives for balance. Superwoman often leads a one-dimensional life. She might spend all of her time working. Or, she might spend all of her time taking care of her family and never taking care of herself.
- The Resolute Woman knows she can work on accomplishing some of her goals later. Superwoman wants to accomplish everything now.
- The Resolute Woman has decided what’s most important and spends time on those important priorities. Superwoman thinks everything is important. She feels guilty when she doesn’t get everything done.
- The Resolute Woman delegates. She asks for help when she needs it. Superwoman feels responsible for everything. She does everything herself because she knows her work is best.
- The Resolute Woman stops, takes a break and evaluates where she is going. Superwoman never has time to stop and take a break.
- The Resolute Woman enjoys what she is doing. She has time for fun. Superwoman is very serious about what she is doing. She is so busy that she doesn’t have time for fun. Or, sometimes she works very hard at having fun.
- The Resolute Woman gives herself permission not to do some projects now. Superwoman always feels guilty if any work is left undone.
- The Resolute Woman has enough energy and time for the most important priorities in her life. Superwoman never has enough time. She’s always in a hurry. She is always tired.

Thank you for sharing this. I am at a point in my life where the superwoman in me has crashed from being all worn out. Now resolutewoman has taken over, and is happily taking care of required repairs.
