One week before Christmas Eve, I attended a celebration of life for a wonderful friend, Sharon, whom I had known since 1978. She was 56 when she died.
When I looked at the photograph of Sharon on the program for her service and saw the twinkle in her eyes and her warm smile, I felt so sad and so angry that she had died.
How could I find meaning in her death? I was having a difficult time dealing with my sadness and anger until I receive an e-mail message from another friend, someone who also loved Sharon dearly.
Judy wrote: “Let us seize this moment…with joy and love and tell the ones around us just how much we love them and how much they mean in our life.”
