The holiest of holidays

We celebrate Christmas with presents, friends and family, with song and story. We also celebrate in our memories, in silence, in our hearts.

“The holiest of all holidays are those kept by ourselves in silence and apart—the secret anniversaries of the heart,” Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said.

I found this quote in a magazine in the doctor’s office—the December 2016 issue of Real Simple.
