As you may remember, Fayteen and I think it’s best to wait until after the hurry of the holidays to make resolutions for the new year.
However, now that it’s almost February, we’re going to be Resolute Women and make some goals for 2015.In the next few blog posts, we’re going to share some tips we’ve found helpful.
Alas, making resolutions is easy. It’s keeping them that’s difficult. USA Today, in its January 2-4, 2015, weekend issue, points out that one survey indicated that 86 percent of adults find it hard to keep a resolution to lose 30 pounds. Also, 68 percent find it difficult to keep a goal of going to the gym three times a week, and 66 percent find it’s not easy to stop eating desserts.
What’s the point? Of course, it’s not easy. Change is always difficult. But, Fayteen and I have done lots of difficult things in the past. We can do more. We’re each going to make a few specific, measurable resolutions.
