I am still trying to lose the five pounds that I gained during the holidays.
I always find it frustrating when it’s so much harder to lose weight than it is to gain it. But, I was inspired recently to stick to a healthy diet and lose those pounds. I was in the grocery store when I noticed the People magazine January 14, 2013, issue with photos of women who have lost half their size.
If someone can lose 100 pounds, I can lose five pounds.
Consider Caroline Jhingory, for example. She once weighed 303 pounds, and now she weighs 149 pounds. Even more impressive, she has kept those pounds off for 10 years.
One of her helpful hints is to keep snacks out of the house.
“Once I start, I can’t stop,” Jhingory says.
