Christmas is a wonderful holiday, full of meaning.
But, it is a busy time. “I get started early,” I told my husband a couple of days ago, “but I always end up behind.”
It’s a Christmas tradition. I always feel a bit overwhelmed. How can I focus on the meaning of the season and avoid getting distracted by all of the activities and items on my to-do list?
Yesterday I found some seasonal advice in an unexpected place when I sat down with a cup of tea and a book, a gift from my friend Olga. The book is The Wisdom of the Ancient Greeks by Steven Stavropoulos.
The advice? “Don’t rush,” Theognis said. “There is a perfect moment for everything we do.”
