Breaking the glass ceiling

Lisa Roe will be the first woman chancellor at the University of North Texas, the university where my daughter teaches.

The Dallas Morning News announced on August 17, 2017, “UNT Breaks Glass Ceiling.”

Roe, NASA’s acting deputy administrator, has worked on 38 space missions and held numerous executive posts at the space agency.

Concluded the DMN: “Roe is a powerful role model for young women, both in and beyond STEM careers, and she brings an encouragement to young women to, as she puts it, ‘don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t.’”
