Kerry Egan, a hospice chaplain, describes how she tries to “create a feeling of peace and acceptance and love” before she enters the room of one of her patients.
I love that idea of peace and acceptance and love, and I have been trying to remember it during the holiday season.
How can I create my own bubble of peace and acceptance and love in the rush of the holidays? One way is to find quiet moments with friends. I felt that peace and acceptance and love one day recently when I had an unrushed lunch with a friend at the Dallas Arboretum.
Kerry Egan is the author of the book On Living.
