I haven’t felt peaceful this week. I have a tree to decorate, Christmas cards to address, packages to wrap.
Even though I had a long list of things to do, my husband and I ate a leisurely lunch at the Dallas Arboretum with a friend a couple of days ago. After we ate, we took a walk through the gardens.
I found peace when we interrupted our frantic getting-ready-for-the-holidays for a few hours to enjoy a friend and the arboretum.
