I never imagined that I would be passing along advice from Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks. But I’m going to.
I liked two of the tips that Cuban gave for the winner of the Powerball lottery jackpot in an article in the January 12, 2016, issue of The Dallas Morning News.
First, Cuban advised the winner: If you weren’t happy yesterday, you won’t be happy after winning the lottery. It’s money. It’s not happiness.
And, second, if you win and you were happy yesterday, you are going to be a lot happier tomorrow. It’s money. Life gets easier when you don’t have to worry about bills.
