We’re ready for more adventures

Fayteen and I ended the year with a lovely adventure—a day trip to Fort Worth.

We saw a wonderful exhibit—“Monet—The Early Years” at the Kimball Art Museum—and we had a leisurely lunch at the Café Modern at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

For dessert, I ate a sweet potato pudding tart with toasted marshmallow and bourbon caramel, garnished with candied sage and cranberries. Fayteen indulged in a poached pear with rosemary shortbread, vanilla almond ice cream, sour cherry drizzle and candied walnuts.

Now we’re ready for many more adventures during 2017!
