Laugh out loud

Leigh Anne Jasheway, in her book Don’t Get Mad, Get Funny, offers a new approach to resolutions. These are four of her suggestions:

* Do something daily that makes you laugh out loud.
* Eat right 90 percent of the time.
* Focus on what you did right every day, instead of what you did wrong.
* Find at least five new-for-you, healthy foods that you like.

I’m going to concentrate on those resolutions I made earlier this year—lose five pounds and clean out my closet, for example. But, I also am going to make a new resolution—a resolution that I’ve never made before. Maybe I’ll spend more time laughing!
