I just completed an entire month without consuming a single soft drink.
Some people might consider such a feat to be only a minor accomplishment. But, for me, it was a major accomplishment.
Even though I’ve been going to Weight Watchers meetings for almost a decade and I weigh a couple of pounds under my weight goal, I know for sure that the overeater inside me is always ready to overindulge.
And, if I can’t eat potato chips and French fries and candy bars, what’s wrong with drinking diet soft drinks? It’s not so bad, of course, if I drink a few. But I can drink a lot of them.
I am making a minor adjustment that will make me healthier. That’s a major accomplishment.
