Carbohydrates, proteins and calories?

I’m now counting calories, grams of carbohydrates and grams of protein.

Yikes! Because I keep falling into the pre-diabetic category, I have been trying to reduce the number of carbohydrates I eat. And, during my last visit to my dietician, she suggested that I need to eat more protein—75 grams a day, in fact, and count calories.

What’s amazing is that is that it’s so easy to count calories and grams of protein and grams of carbohydrates today.

All you do is Google “nutritional information for tilapia,” and instantly you find the answer.

What is so frustrating is that this game of trying to stay healthy is so complicated and crazy. I have carefully counted grams of carbohydrates, grams of protein and calories for a week, and I have gained a pound and a half.
