Harvest song

Let’s all remember to take time to enjoy the beauty of the season—the beauty that Elizabeth Rooney describes in her poem “Harvest Song.”

Sing apples and peaches and pears!
Sing orange and scarlet and yellow!
Sing green turned to glory
To tell us the story
That autumn is merry and mellow!

We found this poem in the book This Amazing World by Lois Rock and Ruth Rivers.
